The Race is On – Why I'm the Only Challenger Ready to Fight for Rideau-Rockcliffe
The nomination papers are filed. The campaign is officially underway. And on October 25, the voters of Rideau-Rockcliffe will make their choice.
As of today, I am the only challenger stepping up to take on the incumbent in Ward 13. That means this election is a clear choice: more of the same, or real change driven by someone who knows how to get things done.
Let's be clear about what's at stake.
The Incumbent's Record vs. My Vision
The incumbent has had their turn. They've had time to deliver on transit, on affordability, on accountability. Yet we still face unreliable OC Transpo, a lack of vision for our ward, and a city hall that too often seems more interested in pandering than problem-solving.
I'm running because I bring a different set of tools to the table:
- I'm a Project Manager, Not a Career Politician. I know how to plan, execute, and deliver. It's the "HOW" not the "WHAT" that matters.
- I support a new east-end bridge. It's time to start planning now, not let NIMBYism delay progress.
- I'm committed to using AI, open data, and data analytics to make city government smarter and more responsive.
- I won't run again if elected. I want to get in, get stuff done, and get out—not build a political career.
Why Being the Only Challenger Matters
In municipal elections, voters often struggle to find clear alternatives to incumbents. This year, there's no confusion: I am the alternative. The "change" vote doesn't need to be split. It can be directed at a single, focused campaign—one that has been preparing for this moment since May 1st, when I filed my nomination.

I've run before—in 2019 and 2022—and I've learned from every door I knocked on. This time, the campaign is sharper, the message is clearer, and the stakes are higher.
We don't need a politician who quits their responsibilities on the Police Board during a crisis. We need someone who shows up, who plans, who delivers.
