Out meeting the dog walkers and baby strollers
Although this set up seems innocuous, I met over 20 people. Those I did not meet still saw me.
One advised, " get good staff and hang on to them"
Another, " for $15,000 a year in taxes, I want peace of mind not infill, and I want my car!"
I am giving people a real and compelling choice.
Voters
Voters deserve better than elections that feel like picking the lesser of two frustrations.
As a candidate, I see the frustration firsthand: too many people feel the choices offered are more of the same — recycled attacks instead of fresh, meaningful alternatives.
This disconnect fuels apathy and cynicism. When campaigns focus on blocking opponents rather than building something better, voters tune out, turnout suffers, and trust in the system erodes.
Real alternatives change that. They give people something worth voting for, boost engagement, create accountability, and spark better ideas through genuine competition.
Democracy strengthens when voters have clear, distinct options instead of echoes of the status quo.
Candidates like me must rise to this. We need to listen deeply to real concerns, present distinct and solution-focused visions, communicate authentically, and lead with hope rather than fear.
Transparency about trade-offs builds credibility that slogans never will.Voters respond when offered substance over spectacle.
It’s time to give them exactly that — compelling choices that earn their trust and participation.Let’s make every vote count for something real.
